Removing ordinary "power meter" icon from taskbar
Removing ordinary "power meter" icon from taskbar
Hi,
Finally got my T42 and it is awesome, I'm so glad I didn't go with the Sony that I first planned.. But I'm sure we all know how good our ThinkPads are.
The question is: Is it possible to remove the normal power meter icon from the taskbar ? I mean that small battery icon that shows the current charge capacity in blue. It is pretty useless since I have installed the battery maximiser and it gives me all the info I need to know, so it just takes space there in the taskbar. Thank you for any answers..

Thank you for quick replies but unfortunately this was not exactly what I ment, when you unselect the "show battery icon always" it is removed when one is in AC-mode, but it appears in the battery mode.. There should be some possiblity to remove it since it disappears when AC is plugged in, maybe some registry tinkering is needed...
