The T23 is basically the same build as the T20 which I have. I am happy with my T20 in many ways, except that the bottom gets hot quickly, especially when you play DVD movies, use the internet, or do heavy CPU intensive applications. Even when using on battery, the battery just gets luke warm, and the hard drive feel like a warm hand shake, but the CPU and modem/ethernet combo card compartment both get hot - too hot for anyone's laps.

If you don't intend to put the T23 on your lap frequently when using it for those purposes mentioned, then you will find the T23 a good machine. Very hardy and doesn't give problems.

Yes. The T23's are excellent machines and fixed all the faults with the crappy T20 & T21.
