Hi i recently got a thinkpad t41 and it totaly messed i was unable to open or start anything even system restore so i did the only thing left which was to format, everything is now ok but the wireless is not installed and i dont have a clue what to do any ideas?

cheers for that but am not sure which one to download couldnt point us in the right direction my laptop is ThinkPad T41 2373-4PG if that helps

According to Lenovo site T41 2373-4PG has an intel b WiFi by default. This is the driver for it then.
