I have a T43p and have been running into some problems following an upgrade from Rescue & Recovery 3.01 to 4.0. Actually the upgrade itself worked fine and R&R seems to be working properly.
However, I now seem to be unable to make any network connections, either via LAN or wireless. In the hardware profile the corresponding adapters are listed as active but they do not appear under Network Connections.
When I try to create a new network connection, both adapters are listed as disconnected and continuing leads to an error message. Using the Fn button (or Access Connections) to switch on the Wireless Lan also does not work.
I tried reverting to earlier drivers, then updated with the most recent ones, to no avail. I also uninstalled Access Connections, but this also did not help (haven`t installed it again though).
Judging from what XP tells me I might have to re-connect the adapters, but does that mean I actually have to open the machine and physically remove them and then re-install?
Is anyone familiar with this issue and has an idea how to solve it?
Thanks,
Christian
