Do the T30 and T42 have the same exact case?

A friend tells me that he has a Thinkpad T30, my question is does the T30 have the same exact body/case as the T42? If it does I'll go over to see what it's like.

No they do not have the same casing.
The T30 is 12" wide 9.8' deep and 1.4" thick
The T42 14" screen is 12.2" wide 10.0" deep and 1.0-1.2 thick
The T42 15" screen is 13.0" wide 10.6" deep and 1.2-1.4" thick

The specs don't tell the whole story, though. I have a T30 at work and it's MUCH clunkier than my T4x!
