What are the differences between these two besides the part #'s and that the one ending in SA00 is a few bucks more?

I have a T43 with the infamous HDD error in bypass mode. Will these also cause that error with a direct drop in?

The one ending with SA00 is the serial ATA version. For the T43, you need the PATA version (AT00).

I don't see this model in the firmware update utility yet, so I expect that you will still get the 2010 error:

The differences of these 2 HDD are the interface. One is IDE, the other is SATA. You should buy the IDE one.
By now to I know, can't get off 2010 error with 5K160 HDD in T43.
