Cannot enable hibernation for T42

Cannot enable hibernation for T42

when i tried to enable hibernation, a message popped out saying that it cannot create the hibernation file.....my friend who has the exactly the laptop did not have this problem.

I have installed power management features and battery maximiser.

Check that have hibernate enabled.

Control Panel --> Performance and maintenance --> Power Options --> Hibernate tab.

i had this same problem, do you have Alcohol 120% installed or Daemon Tools installed? if so uninstall it and hibernation will work

glad to see that fixed your problem, im still curious as to how a virtual drive can have such an effect on hibernation settings
