Loosed T43 cover [PIC]

Is it possible for me to tighten these 2 screen holder?

Do you mean the hinges?

There is nothing to adjust, when loose they need to be replaced.

no way to be adjusted.?
i would like to tighten it and get the feeling of being "Tight" when open the cover...

You can get the feeling but not adjusting the hinges.

looks like it has no choice , gonna change the hinges if i had to
IBM sales rep has sent the hinges, as well as the M10 Long fan quotation for me over here...
still thinking is it worth to place an order and change it...
any advice????

I would only replace the hinges if the LCD wobbled or wouldn't stay open. Changing the hinges is a pain. You need to remove the LCD and remove the screen bezel. Getting the antenna wires to sit right inside the LCD takes some playing around.

Yes. I also have one sitting around where a hinge is really broken and it never seems like the right day to do it.

I'll change the broken one when I get around to it. You can change yours if it bothers you enough. The hinge runs all the way up the side of the LCD. You remove the screen, remove the bezel, and one at a time, replace the hinge. Maybe next week, but I said that last week also. Note that the hinges screw to the panel and also to the cover.

I'm making it out worse than it is. I've done several and I know where things are. I can do it in about 1/2 - 3/4 hour. If you want it to feel new, don't replace with used hinges.

i am actually placing an order with the IBM here, not sure about the hinges condition.
