T41 driving widescreen external monitors?

I have a T41 with ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics card. I would like to be able to plug in 2 external widescreen monitors into my docking station / port replicator -- one via VGA port and one via DVI port. 2 questions -- can the ATI graphics card drive the widescreen format (1440X900)? And is it possible to use both the DVI and VGA ports at the same time (I assume the cover of the T41 would have to be closed, thereby requiring the use of an external mouse and keyboard)?
