Thinkpad returns policy?

Hi all - first post for me but an avid follower (at least recently anyway!).

Just wondering - I am from Australia and am looking at purchasing either a T41p or T42p (when it becomes available here). I have noted a lot in everyone's discussion regarding the 30 day returns period - my question is: Is there anywhere in the warranty or otherwise that it states that we are entitled to return our thinkpad and what conditions there are?

I have concerns regarding getting a unit with dead pixels and this ghosting reported in the flexview screens. I really want to establish my right to return under these conditions, in particular if they also apply to me here in Australia!!! Also same thing with IBM's policy on dead pixels (I assume they would have one)

So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate your help.

(PS. any other ppl on this forum from Australia ?)

no questions asked return within first 30 days.. 10 days to return once RMA # is issued..

some dealers like me can be convinced to inspect and burn in a new thinkpad to avoid such things as stuck pixels..

we are not supposed to do this but, hell, a happy customer comes back for the next round of new thinkpads..

But I'm in Australia and I can't find anywhere on the online details about this 30 day returns policy?? Can you point me in the right direction ??
