T41p + Linksys WRT54G + Intel WiFi LAN 2100 3B-> SOLUTION

Spendt days trying to find a solution getting this combo to work I finally managed to set it right by simply disabling the mixed mode B/G of the Linksys WRT54G router using only the B network mode.

WRT54G settings dialog : Wireless Network Mode B-mode only + WPA2

Works so nice now

did you try only putting it in g mode before that? i'm asking because wireless g mode is much faster than b (about 5 times). cheers

Whether the Linksys WRT54G router was in mixed or G-mode only produced same result: no connection what so ever.

Seem to work for my T41p in the B-mode only.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it make sense that a 'b' card will work best in a 'b' environment? And definitely NOT in a 'g' only one? It seems it should work in a 'b/g' environment, but your signal will be much better in 'b' only . . .
