T43 RAM modules

Hi there,

can PC2-5300 1GB SODIMM memory modules be used in a T43?

official listing is PC2-4200... This should be ok no?

Yes this will work but they will be running at 533MHz which is for PC2-4200. I am using this on my R52 which has a similar configuration with the T43.

I used PC2-5300 sticks in my T43 for a while. No problem at all.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)

thanks, I picked up two 1GB sticks up for good price online. they do work like a charm :)
