CNET gives the T42 a cursory "review"

It's not very detailed, and doesn't even mention nice things like Active Protection System or the FlexView display.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

And it's not very accurate, either; the "serial port for a mouse" referred to in the review is the S-video output jack.

Sigh.

That *is* very rediculous. Has the person doing the review ever used a computer?

Anyone notice CNET's obvious bias towards the "amazingly lightweight" X40? I mean, sure it is nice, but come on it doesn't deserve any more praise than what the T4x series does.

Those idiots don't deserve a pre-production Thinkpad for 'testing' and 'reviewing'.....can't even tell what an S-Video port is???!? Pathetic.
