Sorry to post another question on this topic, but even after reading a dozen related posts, the whole procedure of restoring the factory settings on a TP42 is not clear to me.
I used the recovery 7-cd set I made to reinstall everything back to square one. The procedure apparently worked, but now the computer keeps booting into the recovery partition, not into Windows.
What am I supposed to do now?

Another question on using Recovery Disks...
Precisely... I had not done that on my first try, so there were six different partitions on the disk... I've just Partition Magic'ed everything and recovery works now.
