T23 Slow when docked

I have the port replicator for T-series and when i dock my machine it gets unbearably slow or freezes completely. I am running Windows XP. The dock has Mouse, Keyboard, monitor, network, sound, and a LPT printer hooked up to it.

When i set the machine to hibrenate while it is undocked, and then i wake it up in the dock, most of the time it will show a partial windows desktop and not respond to any input, forcing me to reboot. Also, even when booting fully while in the dock, programs load slowly (10 minutes to load outlook or mozilla) or will sometimes stop resonding to input. The machine functions fine when undocked.
