Battery Question

#1 Post by MrBrian » Sun Oct 10, 2004 11:47 pm

I am looking to pick up a new battery for the ThinkPad T20 I recently purchased. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am new to Notebook computers so my questions might seem rather basic to the rest of you.

Anyway...my current battery, when fully charged, lasts about 30 minutes before I begin to get the warnings. For the most part, I'm not running any high-powered software. I'd say that close to 98% of the time I'm just surfin' the web (using a wireless card). How does this 30 minutes stack up to a fully charged new battery?

Any recomendations on buying a new battery? I see that there are a ton of T20 batteries for sale on Ebay....so tentatively, I'm thinking this is where I'll buy my new battery.

Thanks folks....you've all been very helpful!

Brian

on the T20 you should see 2 + hours of use on a fully charged and healthy battery..

be careful of purchasing a battery on ebay..
