My T42P and Bluetooth....
I'm getting close to jumping on the bluetooth phone bandwagon, but I'd like to hear from people who use it...We currently use Nextel phones for our voice communication, but I've been researching a BT phone simply to use as my modem when I'm away from the wi-fi. What are peoples experience with this? How is the transmission speed and the consistency of connection? How quickly will I be able to get online using my phone...is the process cumbersome? I'm in love with the idea of having internet access virtually anywhere, but am I getting too excited? Oh and lastly, is it possible to use this Bluetooth phone for multiple laptops (not at the same time)? thanks in advance for your help

I use it, works very well.
How is the transmission speed and the consistency of connection?
Consistency is fine, speed depends on your provider, I think with Nextel you'll get 24-33KB.

About the same time it takes to make a dialup connection.
...is the process cumbersome?
No.
I'm in love with the idea of having Internet access virtually anywhere, but am I getting too excited?
No, even thought it's slow, it's great to be able to connect almost anywhere,
Oh and lastly, is it possible to use this Bluetooth phone for multiple laptops (not at the same time)?
