In an effort to improve display on this 14" 1400x 1050 screen machine, with ATI MOBILITY FIRE GL T2 AGP chip, I dowloaded and installed newest driver, then went properties box to adjust settings. I went to "advanced" settings, where I came across an inconsistency: One tab in this box, called "monitor" lists the IBM ThinkPad 1400 x 1050 LCD panel with a screen refresh rathe of 60 Hz. But another tab in the same box, called "ATI Displays" shows a picture of a laptop with its panel, and correctly identifies the Max Supported Resolution as 1400 x 1050, but says the Max Supported Refresh Rate is only 50 Hz. Can anyone explain to me the significance of this discrepancy and whether or not it constitues a problem?
Thank you
