Fingerprints on T42 Cover

#1 Post by MSE Environmental » Thu Oct 14, 2004 8:25 pm

I've had my T42 for two weeks and I love it. It is a really great computer.

However, I am seeing fingerprints on the outside cover. Does anyone know the best way to clean these off?

Thanks.

I didn't remember seeing that subject there. But it worked great.

Thanks for your help.

Actually the solution in FAQ #18 did not work very well for me. How well did it work for you? Did you get the fingerprints completely off or just barely? What is the ingredients in the solution you used?

Somebody also mentioned using wipes from McDonalds, but I could not find any of these at McD's...

Endust for Electronics! Spray it on a soft cloth or microfiber cloth and have at them.

I took a microfiber cloth and sprayed it with my Office Depot brand Screen Cleaner. I rubbed it in pretty good and the fingerprints were gone.

I won't use the same cloth to clean the screen and the cover, other than that it seemed to work pretty good for me.
