T4x question re: bootable floppy

#1 Post by kjarrett » Fri Oct 15, 2004 5:24 pm

I currently have an adapter that connects to my parallel port and lets me boot ... so when I have a 2nd HDD in the ultrabay, I can use Norton Ghost. Wurks grate.

Does the T4x series have this ability? I see a reference to USB floppy drives. That's fine with me, as long as it's a bootable drive. Anyone?

Thanks, kj

Yes. The USB Floppy drive is bootable.

In fact, [censored] near anything that has a BOOT sector on it and can connect to the USB port will BOOT a T4X, even USB memory keys.

Wow! Thanks! I don't need a floppy then! :)
