restore and recovery password problem

hello ,

i have ibm t42 i forgot my password for my recovery .

what should i do ?

is there a reset button or a default password for it ?

Some people use their Windows Logon password. Did you try that?

it didn't helped

i tried : administrator , admin , 123456 . 654321.admin123456,administrator123456

it won't do

There is no default password.

I think it is possible to reset the Rescue and Recovery password but you may need to go into BIOS and reset the security chip to do so.

If you don't know the BIOS password call IBM and pay them for a new system board.
