I just got my T42 back from the depot today (they replaced the motherboard and cd drive). I was able to boot successfully twice, but noticed that the wireless didn't work - access connections showed the wireless radio as constantly switching on and off. After looking through settings for a while, to no avail I right clicked on the wireless icon in the taskbar and hit repair, which sometimes solves wireless problems. This failed in the middle with a message to the effect that it couldn't power up the wireless card. So I rebooted and now get the following error message:
Code: Select all
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller in slot 01
Bus:02, Device:02, Function:00
Press <F1> to Setup
I tried resetting the BIOS to defaults which didn't help.
I'm going to call support when I get home from work, but wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions.
