Screen saver can't be turned off during playback

screen saver still kicks in while "allow screen saver during playback" option in WMP11 is unchecked. not really a big deal but still pretty annoying.

i had suspected it's caused by a program called "lenovo interface driver (ver. 1.00)" since it's the only program i had installed last week.

so i got rid of it and problem solved (no more on-screen display . but i never figured out why. any idea?

i'm running windows vista 32bit on my t43. and the program lenovo system interface driver (ver. 1.0) was downloaded from their website. i don't use system update

You could try enabling the screensaver for your desktop and in media player. Let it come on, then reboot and disable it in media player.

I,m just guessing here, but I could not replicate your problem on a T40, T41p, X31 or a desktop.
