Saving screen brightness setting

Is there a way to save the screen brightness setting on a T41? I don't want the screen at max brightness when I boot.

I'm not sure. I think you can set up a profile in the battery Maximizer wizard wtih a certan screen brightness and it will return to that scheme on the next boot.

What mattfromomaha said should work. I don't think mine always boots to full brightness, though i haven't really been paying attention. I think it depends on what the battery setting is set to, and whether I have it on AC or not.
