T40 Upgrade Problem

I just upgrade my T40 with T43 motherboard and 2G CPU (533),
which is missing the PCI express module, after install complete I boot my laptop, it cann't boot only the light turn on for 1 second and the CPU fan turn 1 second, then they turn off. May I know is the motherboard have problem?
It can boot while I install the T40 motherboard and CPU.

Did you install memory?
-T42p 2374-D03 with Pentium M 765 2.1GHz, 1.5GB RAM, 7k60 HDD, IBM 802.11 a/b/g II wireless, 6-cell battery, and no touchpad
-X61 Tablet 7764-CTO with 3GB RAM and 7k200 HDD

Note that the memory type and speed is different between T43/p models and other T40 series. The T40 memory won't work in the T43 system board.

I installed Kingston DDR2 667 1G x2, and 2G CPU (533),, but it cann't boot up!
