T42 issue: Cannot enter BIOS

#1 Post by romeogg » Wed Oct 20, 2004 12:13 am

If I press either "access IBM" or "enter" button right after power on, I got a black screen with "missing operating system" at the top. The system could boot into win xp in normal start up though. I suspect that the reason for the problem is because I deleted the hidden IBM service partition with the WinXP drive management tool. I don't really need to chang anything in bios. But entering bios should not be that difficult with normal computers. Does anybody have similar experience?
