What happened to ibm-lenovo support ?

Greetings to everyone!

I recovered my system (t43p 2668 g2g) and I thought to use Software Installer like other installation in 3 years
but

- I only found system update that's not the same software, at leat it did'nt install me drivers. Ok, i found an old version of software installer.

-Video driver of ati firegl v3200 were bugged and it was impossible to set my lcd on 1400x1050.

-I also had problem with fn+f7 displaying presentation director shortcut.


Ok, luckely this forum exists, and thans to you all, I founded here documentation to solve my problems, but I'm very worried about updating my system now, why are they releasing so many bugged software? In my opinion Video driver problem is the worst!
