another flexview-related question (vs. x20)

#1 Post by hapzunglam » Tue May 25, 2004 4:51 pm

I have an old X20. Viewing angles aside (versus a desktop LCD), it's also dimmer... That combined with the limited viewing angle, make Photoshop work completely impossible. How's the T42 14" compared to the X20 brightness wise? Would it be about the same? Would it have slightly better viewing angle (vs. X20 screen). Seems to me that I would need the 15" to do photoshop work, but just wanted to hear some more input to make a more informed decision. like many here I prefer the size/weight/price of the 14 but being forced to go up to the 15 solely for the flexview.

I use a T40p with the 14.1" screen SXGA+ and do photoshop work on it with no problem (I also video edit in Avid and After Effects) Heck, my desktop background is a Rothko painting and the colour accuracy is pretty much dead-on. (It helps just by sheer size that the 14.1" has a wider viewing angle than the 12" screens)

edited resolution name typo
