T30 and 1 gb memory sticks

Hi everybody,
I was just wondering anyone has tried to install on the T30 these 1gb memory sticks on the market for the newer thinkpads.
Even if the T30 specs fix the max amount of ram to 1gb, many have said that it could be possible to arrive to 2gb. Has anyone tried it?

The best would be to be able to install two 1gb sticks in order to have a total of 2gb of ram but, as I don't know if my second memory slot is faulty or not yet, it could be enough to install just one 1gb stick on the first slot.

I don't think the BIOS will recognize more than 1 gb. If you decide to try it, however, please let us know the outcome!
