Hi,
I have bought replacement LCD screen for my T21. The seller was not experienced guy to taking things apart, so instead of removing screws to disconnect LCD panel he loose bolts on the hinges.
I have noticed there is some special compaund which prevents nuts from going loose. The panel electrically and physycally is perfect, but because of bad deassambly the screen doesnt stay in vertical position.
I have tried to tighten nuts by wrench, but it doesn't hold very well.
Does anybody have experience with fixing these things? Do I need to use special adhesive or compount for this?
thanks
How to fix hinges on LCD assembly?

My guess would be to use Loc-Tite. It's a thread locker for screws, and works very well, with an extremely tiny amount.
You should be able to find this in any hardware store. Make sure you get the BLUE loctite, as the RED loctite will only come undone if you use a torch. And you don't want to have to take a torch to your notebook.

Yes, make sure not to get Loctite Red, blue is the only one you can possibly get out. There is also Loctite purple. You may also find a number of other companies make good threadlockers, such as 3M. In addition, always read the manufacturers recommendations on how to apply it. But, as a general rule, if you ever want to stand a chance of getting it out when you put in the bolt/screw, tighten it up only hand-tight, don't really crank it in. What happens is when the Loctite starts setting up it will actually tighten the screw in even more by expansion pulling the bolt in a bit a lot of times. So, as a result if you really crank it in to start off, after it sets it will be even more snug into the surface, in addition to the normal threadlocking it is supposed to do.
