Response from BOOQ regarding 15" T42 w/ 9-cell

#1 Post by ozoneraider » Sun Oct 24, 2004 10:55 am

Me: The dimensions of the T42 with 9-cell battery are 13.0w, 11.47d, 1.2h. Depth with the normal battery is 10.6, so as you can see the larger battery adds .87" across most of the rear panel.

BOOQ: Based on these dimensions, the only bags we carry that would fit your laptop are the PowerSleeve16, the BP3, or the Boa.XL.

The 16 seems huge to me. I would prefer the 15 or the new Cobra XM. Is anyone out there using either of these bags on this laptop?

I know this is an old topic but figured I'd post that I have a T42p with the big battery and a PowerSleeve15 worked fine for me. It's tight but it's a snug fit which ain't all bad.

I found this thread looking for info on a BP3. I used that sleeve for a while and now I've got a Crumpler bag. My work day has changed such that I need to carry more stuff around and the Crumpler Wack O-Phone isn't big enough to carry everything I need now.

Booq is wrong. The Booq XM fits perfectly. Read my review here:
