This might be a problem I'll have to call IBM about but, heck, maybe someone here knows? After upgrading my T42 to the Hitachi 7200 harddrive, reinstalling everything via IBM's restore CD's & downloading many updated drivers & software, I only have a problem with the "Access IBM" software update. Trying to install, I get "Error 1721, a required program could not be run ... rolling back installation." So, I'm wondering what that might be? I did remove (uninstall) Access Connections due to if being too difficult to get stable wifi connections. Suppose I could reinstall it to see if that's the problem but, I must say that Access Connections scares me (due to the many problems I had with it).
So, I'd be happy to hear if anyone else knows what the problem is with updating Access IBM.
can't update "Access IBM" (installer problem)
