Booq BP3 System Anyone?

#1 Post by DiViNiTy » Mon Oct 25, 2004 2:13 pm

Has anyone heard of or used the Booq BP3 Backback or system (http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=44)? For $160 I want to hear from someone who has it before I purchase! The other bag that I like is the Spire Fuse (http://www.spireusa.com/products/FE5.html)! If anyone could comment on either of these bags or make a better recommendation I would appreciate it. :D I will be using the bag for graduate school so whatever bag I get will have to be able to hold my 2378FVU as well as a couple of books and everything else that a graduate student uses!! Thanks in advance for commenting!!

i use the bp3 system before and I think its not worth the price. The backpack itself looks awkward to begin with and there aren't enough room to put school stuff. The wide shoulder straps isn't my thing either. I'm a 4th year college student so backpack space is very important to me along with the protection of my laptop. I ended up returning the bp3 system and got myself the Jansport Optimizer instead, great backpack, especially the cushioned shoulder pads that made my 20lb backpack feel like feather (exaggeration, but it does work). With the money you save from buying Jansport you can buy an extra sleeve or something to protect your laptop even more.

just my 2 cents

The booq powersleeve is great on it's own though. I use one, and it fits into my standard backpack quite well.

I bought the BP3 System and then returned everything but the powersleeve. I didn't find the backpack to be worth the price but the powersleeve is excellent.

I love the bag and the powersleeve. I didn't even consider the price. The stuff is very well built, and has tons of space. I like that fact that there's so many pockets, which helps compartmentalize your stuff. The wide shoulder straps are awesome, it really makes it comfortable when you carry very heavy stuff. The pda pocket is useful, and I use the phone pocket for accessories.
