Unknown hidden device
got a second hand T41, found 3 unknown hidden device in device manager. no idea what it is ?
it seems that it could be "make to be" generic volume

Maybe the Unknown Device is because the bluetooth software is not installed? I couldn't see any devices for bluetooth in the list, but since i don't know what type of T41 this is i don't know if this model got bluetooth at all.
If you cannot find out i guess it's easier to give you some suggestions if you give us the type as well. Should find it somewhere under the computer in the format XXXX-YYY.

That machine does in fact have a bluetooth MPCI card in it. Here are the drivers;

Do a forum search for 'widcomm' and try to install the widcomm bluetooth stack, it works better. If you don't have any bluetooth devices, ignore the unknown devices. There would be no point to installing the drivers if you don't use bluetooth.

Great Machine BTW, downloading the bluetooth driver .
enable BT and it shows Integrated BT II and MS BT Emulator
the 2 or 3 unknown device is still there ...

Thanks Harry - I actually shot quite a few times in the Dark for this one. Very strange indeed.
i installed both the Intel and the ACPI thing.
tried google the deviceid and come back nothing.
read your email, removed the logitech but not the unknown device.
tried to use unknown device identifier but nothing as well.
