how do i get 1360x768 on external monitor (on T42P)

All the resolutions available are 4:3, but I want to connect my Sony Bravia LCD at 1360x768.

How do I do this? Driver update? I'm running all IBM supplied drivers currently.

The T42P will provide resolution other than 4:3, I am using my T42P with a Dell 24" at 1920x1200. Do you have a disk for your monitor? if so, there may be drive file that system can use to get the right resolution needed for your Sony. Check the Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Monitor tab to see what is installed. The other thing to do is to uncheck "hide modes that this monitor cannot display" and see what is available under the Adapter tab.
