Help with my new T42

I got my T42 today and i love it. But i get a noise which seems like its buzzing every 30 sec and this really iritates me. I think its from the lower left part of my keybord. Can any one give me the quickest solution to stop this. I hope i dont have to send it back to them.

perhaps it's the "optimization" of the hd that windows xp does. but jsut do be on the safe side i would document it with IBM so if anything does happen you have proof that you brought up an issue.
