Choppy sound with T43p bluetooth [FIXED]

#1 Post by kam_ » Wed Sep 05, 2007 5:03 pm

Hi!

I've just bought a Sony DR-BT10CX stereo headset/headphones and although i can get it all paired up fine i'm getting really choppy audio. Its systematically 1 second audio, 1 second silence, but when paired to my phone it works perfectly.

I did a search on the forum and i find lots of references to disableing the MS stack and installing the IBM one, but nothing about this particular problem.

I think it may be some quirk with the WISCOM stack. Does anyone know of any other stacks that work with the T43p built in bluetooth?

EDIT:

Ok so i fixed it, and i thought i would post in case anyone else has the same problem.

The latest IBM Bluetooth software (found using Update Installer or System Update) exhibits the problem, it is version 5.1.0.3100

If you go direct to the widcomm site (now broadcom) you can downloaf 5.1.0.3600 which corrects the problem:
