Can you add Thinkpad Protection to an online order ?
I have previously added Thinkpad Protection to an order placed with an IBM rep. on the phone, but wondered how or if you can add Thinkpad Protection to an order placed on the IBM website????
Please let me know how to do this.
Thanks a lot in advance!

I see options for onsite and depot warranty upgrades, and also Computrace Personal and Computrace Complete, but I don't see anything for Thinkpad Protection.

you can (or should be able to) place thinkpad protection on your new thinkpad by ordering it from ibm (or from bill) within 30 days from invoice of your new thinkpad..
not within 30 days from delivery..

To add it after you purchased your computer (directly from IBM and within 30 days of invoice), you can call your sales representative and ask that person to do it for you. If you do not know who it is, just call IBM and tell them you want to talk to your sales rep. If your sales rep, insist this is not possible just tell him to double check. I have done it in the past, through my sales rep. The reason for this is some sales people at IBM does not know you can add it within the 30 days timeframe... This seems reasonable since you can return it within 30 days, and hopefully you did not already break already... lol...
