Symptom corrected by version 3.12 (1RETDGWW)
Note: This BIOS version will only work with Embedded Controller Program Version 3.03 (or higher).

(New) Support for new chip on board. 
wow vague much? whats this new chip on board? the 2.0ghz dothans? or something else..?

Don't know. I downloaded and installed the update and it works fine. I have a 1.4 Ghz processor and purchased and received a 1.8 Ghz Dothan update. I have yet to install it (no time), but I want to get to the install next week, and wanted to have the new BIOS. It's not causing any issues (including wireless) with my current setup. ... JDHurst

Applied 3.12 here with no issues ... also 3.03 embedded controller. All is well...
