I don't know why you got that error or how to solve it. You should be able to buy the Product Recovery Disc set from Lenovo. Another option would be to install an OEM version of Windows (same version as what the COA sticker is for). Install from that CD using the Product Key from the COA sticker on the bottom of the ThinkPad.
