Dead/Grey pixels on T4X ThinkPads is another known problem?

#1 Post by bin.dong » Fri Sep 21, 2007 3:01 pm

I recently replaced my T42p LCD panel, but the thing is 2 big grey pixels (not dead pixel) are still on left top corner of the screen.

I run the screen checker on several ThinkPad T4X, they all have the same problem and those big grey pixels even on the same location. Here is the link for that pixels checker. http://www.widowpc.com/members/fix_dead_pixels.zip

Run it full screen!

It's because the grey pixels are there, in the movie clip :D
They're not generated by the screen. When you pause the movie they appear like smaller grey pixels, but the impression that they are larger is an optical illusion, IMO.
