How to restore the green onscreen hardware status icons

#1 Post by PaulK » Mon Sep 24, 2007 4:00 pm

Hi;

I've been trying to reduce the large memory footprint that XP has grown to, and deleting the startup entries of a lot of programs I don't want necessarily to run at startup. I guess I got carried away, because now none of the green status icons on the screen work -- not the volume, not the brightness -- even the battery status is gone, and I can't get fn+f5 to give me the chance to turn bluetooth on and off.

Anyone know what I should run/restore to get back all that? Anyone know how I can turn Bluetooth on in the meantime?

Thanks,

Paul
