Any feedback on CTRL+ on firefox mozilla!

#1 Post by simon » Wed Nov 03, 2004 9:27 am

Does anyone know wether the ctrl + (to increase fonts) in foxfire mozilla works with the 1600x1200 res as well as the 1400x1050 for 15" sceents on the T42p/T42? When fonts are increased, does it look clear and sharp?

I had tried at home with my stand alone LCD and it works fine. the only pain is that every time i log in into firebird, i will have to manually increase it, there is no really any other way to keep the size of the fonts saved. Unless, of course, someone knows a way to.

This is just in case when I order my system, wether it would be 1600x1200 or 1400x1050 that if the fonts are "that" small, I could increase the fonts, as I don't like to scale down the res or increase the DPI. I have tried the last 2 options, and I don't like it.

thanks!

Or get the TextZoom extension from Cosmic Cat. It remembers the zoom level in most cases, if not you can just press Ctrl+0.

I just tried it on my T41p (14.1" 1400x1050), and it works like a charm. Everything is crisp.

I have XGA (1024x768) on my T40, and it looks great at every size, even on a low res screen. It must look even nicer on a better screen.
