Thinkpad T41 Display Problem

#1 Post by dum_hobo » Thu Sep 27, 2007 1:51 pm

Hi! I have a Thinkpad T41 (old tech, I know) and one day I come back to find the screen like in the attached photo. Is there a fix for this or must I send it in to tech shops for repairs (warranty is over AFAIK).

Thanks

I know this is a screen issue because the computer function as wonderful as it normally does when plugged into an external monitor.

Doesn't look good but you can try re-seating all of the connectors from the motherboard to the LCD screen.

I am not saying you have a motherboard issue, but I want to mention that some MB problems only affect the LCD.
