Ram compatability?

Hi All,

I was just wondering if ram bought from a brand name company such as Kingston or Crucial would work in tandem with the ram that the T42 comes with. Are there any instability problems or do they generally work fine? After doing a quick search in the forum, I believe it should be okay, however I just wanted some confirmation. Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes you can ues Crucial and Kingston RAM, and pretty much most other RAM out there. Crucial is a good stable brand. Just make sure you get PC2700 RAM that is non-ECC.
