About to finalize a deal on a T40.
2373-7cu
Pent M 1.5
40 gig HD
768 memory

Are all T40's wireless ready. The current owner told me he had an option to get wireless but chose to get a external Linksys G card. I just want to be sure...... He wasn't able to tell me for sure.

There are a number of T40 configurations that didn't come with them.

That brings up an interesting question, the T40 I just bought last week has an 802.11b card internal that works fine. What do you have to do if you were to stick in a say a linksys b/g card ? do you have to disable the onboard wireless ?

it would recognized your card but would not be able to use both wireless.
