IBM EPP program has a pretty good deal on
a new fingerprint reader T42:
2379R8U for $1416.35. Pent M 745, 512mb, 15" Radeon 7500, 3 year.

Unfortunately the cheapest offering for a FLEX display is over $500 more than that.

Yep, the graphics package is weak. Though
they're basically giving away a free processor
upgrade, memory upgrade, and a three year
warranty.

too bad the video card isn't a radeon 9600. Deal breaker for me

They do have a nice deal on a 15" FLEX in the R-Series:

1836-Q6U 1.7 Pent M735 256MB 60GB Radeon 9000 $1,071.85 (no fingerprint)

WHo qualifies for IMB EPP program?
THis price is below what i paid for my 1.7 M 735, 14 XGA, Radeon 7500, 3 year. I paid $1500. YOur deal sounds sweeter.

EPP is the Employee Purchase Program. Employees, their families and friends are elligible to participate.
