This is a good deal. It's very similar to the $410 shipped T42 that I bought about two months ago.

And that its not stolen property...

Try to find out the wear level/cycle count of the battery....

Actual price was 500, but i had some spare parts and got the price down to 375.

Good machine, but the battery i think is shot. Got it with 53% on it, tried to recondition it and now it won't charge past 1%. The seller will give me a different battery but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on how to get the battery charged up if possible. Recalibarate the battery?

The battery has over 250 cycles on it and was first used i think in June, 2006.

Is there a number I can call to verify it's not stolen or also to get the history of this machine. The screw covers were removed and re-applied, which tells me that the front palm rest was removed at one point or another.

Thanks!
Brian

Pretty good deal. My 3VU costs me over $2500 3 years ago.

Shouldn't 3VU come with Pentium M 1.7GHz + dvd writer?
