one thing i experieced today

After i restored xp for my friend's T43 which has SXGA+ screen, i couldnt take a look at mine (XGA), i think mine looks so ugly:(, does anybody have the same feeling?

now i am in deep urge to replace mine sceen instead.:)

What do you feel is ugly?

If the text looks pixelated to you, make sure Cleartype is on.

Then you really don't want to come close to an UXGA screen, because you might just throw your T43 through the window...

Not only is it more comfortable to look at, but it allows you to see more stuff than on a XGA screen. The UXGA flexview is simply wonderful, however it's expansive and not available on 14" models.

I think so too. But I was really impressed by the screen on the 15" Macbook Pro even though it has only 1440*900 pixels. It seems the text rendering matters too. I would also suggest to turn on Cleartype

I agree, nothing but SXGA on my laptops.
