Not that this helps............

I had a few lockups with my T41p after I had installed SP2.

Got fed up with it, so I did a clean install and have updated everything apart from SP2. ( I have latest Bios 3.12).

All is well now!

If you have good firewall and antivrus, Im not sure what real use SP2 is (Someone can enlighten us?).......

Now, where did I put those Linux disks..................

SP2 install probably defaulted your setting to "Let windows manage my wireless settings", make sure only one is set to default.

I think this may help.

Next time do a little homework before asking a question when the answer is likely right on IBMs support site. They do a pretty good job for a company of its size.

I had a similar problem and it ended up being a conflict with the "wireless zero config" service. Once I disabled that, rebooted, and reinstalled the newest Access Connections all was fine.
